| The Baby Manual,
it’s consultants and employees cannot be held liable for any
loss, damage, injury, liability, cost or expense of any nature whatsoever
arising out of the use of the information provided either verbally,
written or contained within thebabymanual.co.uk website (whether direct,
indirect or consequential) Any advice is offered in good faith and
is based on the circumstances as presented to The Baby Manual at the
time of the consultation, telephone, email or subsequent visits. Please note that any advice offered is not meant as a substitute for medical advice. If your child’s health concerns you in any way whatsoever, please contact your GP or A&E department in the event of an emergency. The terms and conditions are deemed accepted on the booking of any consultation visit, phone consultation or email consultation. The terms and fees are non negotiable and non refundable. The booking can only be confirmed on receipt of cleared funds. The Baby Manual is not an Agency and therefore will not charge an Agency fee. All information supplied by The Baby Manual is confidential. Any passing of information to potential clients, applicants, and employees other agencies or outside consultants is strictly forbidden. Any information supplied to The Baby Manual from the client will be held in the strictest confidence. Any Consultations used in the future as case studies or testimonials will only be done so on the clients approval and authorisation. Names will be changed to protect clients identity. Home Consultations 1. (A) Once the client’s needs have been discussed and a consultation date has been arranged, the client agrees to send payment to The Baby Manual. Once the payment has been received and cleared, the Consultant will then confirm the booking. All bookings are deemed as unconfirmed until full payment has been made. 1 (B)* There will be no charge for travel expenses within thirty miles of where the Consultant is travelling from, the client will be advised on this at the time of booking – thereafter a cost of 40p per mile will be added to the final bill. If parking permits are required at the site of the consultation, it is the clients’ responsibility to provide the Consultant with the necessary documents for legal parking. Otherwise no parking fee will be charged. There will be no charge for congestion charges in central London. 2.Should the Consultant fail to take up a confirmed appointment due to illness or any other unforeseen circumstance, The Baby Manual reserves the right to offer an alternative date for the consultation. If this is not possible, The Baby Manual will refund the client in full. 3.It is the responsibility of the client to advise the Consultant, prior to any home consultations, of any ill health within the client’s immediate family. This is to include the Client, the baby or any siblings within the family home. 4. (A) If the client cancels a consultation within seven days prior to the consultation once full payment has been made, no refund will be given. 4. (B) If the client cancels a consultation within seven to fourteen days prior to the consultation, a refund of 50% of the payment received will be given. 5.
